with case to be raffled off at the close
of the festival. (an $859 value)

| In celebration of GnG’s 10th anniversary
serving deserving youth GnG NCA will host the “GnG Music
Experience” at the Del Ray Music Festival this year.

| The “GnG Music Experience” has something
for everyone. For those who play guitar there will be professional
guitarists on hand to demonstrate techniques, provide playing
tips and answer questions. For youth who have never played
a guitar there will be introductory lessons where they can
hold a guitar, strum some simple patterns and learn what it
would take to play the instrument. For parents and others
there will be information about the benefits of participating
in a music program, the local music scene and the music opportunities
available to them and their families. Youth who participate
will have a chance to win one of the student guitars used
at the festival and receive free lessons from a professional
instructor. |

Formed in 2000, GnG uses the power of music to inspire
at-risk and underprivileged youth to succeed by providing
them music education and mentoring opportunities. They are
an all-volunteer, community based organization that provides
these youth a positive alternative to the self-destructive
behaviors of substance abuse, crime, truancy and gangs.
GnG NCA has 13 teaching locations in Northern Virginia including
two in Alexandria and 3 others on the route 1 corridor just
